The Fujifilm X-T5 offers a flexible and efficient way to manage your image settings through its Custom Settings feature (slots C1 to C7). Each Custom Setting lets you store a complete group of image-related parameters—such as Film Simulation, White Balance, and Dynamic Range—tailored to a specific shooting style or condition.

Whether you regularly shoot portraits, landscapes, street scenes, or black and white, Custom Settings help you switch between looks instantly, without needing to manually adjust each setting. 📋 What Can (and Can’t) Be Saved in a Custom Setting

Custom Settings on the Fujifilm X-T5 allow you to save a wide range of image-related parameters into memory slots (C1 to C7). These settings are particularly useful when switching between different photographic styles or conditions—such as portrait, street, or landscape—where a specific combination of looks and tonal responses is preferred.

But not everything in the camera can be saved. This section clarifies what is actually stored in a Custom Setting, what you can adjust quickly using the Q Menu, and what falls outside the scope of this feature.

The following parameters can be included in Custom Settings. They are grouped according to the menu they belong to.

⚡ Parameters Quickly Adjustable via the Q Menu

Many of the above parameters are also accessible and editable via the Q Menu—the camera’s quick-access interface.

These include:

💡 However, whether your Custom Setting changes made via the Q Menu are permanently saved or just temporarily applied depends on the setting: IQ > Auto Update Custom Setting:
- if Enabled, changes made via the Q Menu are saved into the current Custom Setting.
- if Disabled, the changes are temporary and will be lost when the camera is turned off.

In this case, modified values will be marked with a red dot in the Q Menu and Custom Setting list, signaling that they differ from the saved preset.
